SPECIALIZING IN ANXIETY TREATMENT AND PSYCHOTHERAPY
Anxiety can often cloud our sense of who we are and make relationships and decisions difficult.
Together, we can work to find coping strategies and tools while sorting through the tricky parts of being human.
I help people manage life’s transitions with less worry. Through therapy we can remove debilitating anxiety, calibrate emotional triggers and discover a well balanced and healthy state of mind.
I strive to provide a warm, compassionate, sometimes humor-filled space to do this emotional work. I’m a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I work from a supportive, client-centered, strengths-based perspective.

ABOUT ME
Kimberly McGrath Maki, MS, LPC.
Licensed professional counselor, NJ license # 37PC00827000
I love being a therapist. It is an honor when people allow me to witness and sit with their discomfort and struggles. With years of experience in counseling, my professional focus is assisting those who are affected by dysfunctional families, divorce, career change and other anxiety producing transitions.
I have a Master's degree from Northeastern University in Counseling Psychology. I have worked with children, teens and adults. Together we work through life's most difficult stages and find ways to adjust to new circumstances with grace and confidence.
INSURANCE AND PAYMENTS
I am out-of-network for insurance companies. You are welcome to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance and I will provide you with the paperwork needed to do so. Many insurance companies provide benefits to cover out-of-network providers which can be up to 80% of the cost of treatment. Depending on your insurance, your final cost may be similar to your co-pay for an in-network provider.
Questions you may want to ask you insurance provider are: What is my Behavioral Health coverage? Do I have a deductible? What is my out-of-network reimbursement rate?
